RST Geotechnical Instruments Inaugural Newsletter
Welcome to the first issue of the RST Instruments Ltd. Geotechnical Instruments Newsletter!

As a leader in the geotechincal instruments industry since 1977, the main objective of the RST monthly newsletter is to keep you on the pulse of the most current advancements happening in the geotechnical instrumentation industry.

Along with new product information, this newsletter will also tap into key industry events such as conferences and short courses. Since RST provides geotechnical instruments on a global level, you will find that many of these events may be right in your own city or country and give you an opportunity to come visit us face-to-face.

Lastly, we hope that the RST Geotechnical Newsletter will allow you to catch a behind-the-scenes glimpse of social events at RST and show you that our "innovation in geotechnical instrumentation" also comes to life through the dedication of our employees.

about our Meter Marked Cable?

You cut the what?!! Where?!! No problem... reading this article just made your life a whole lot easier.

RST uses Meter Marked Cable in a majority of our instruments that require a signal cable such as those used in Vibrating Wire Piezometers, Load/Pressure Cells, Crack Meters, Joint Meters, etc. A meter mark is clearly displayed on each cable at every 1 meter section which is highly convenient during installation and in the unfortunate event of the cable being accidentally severed.

RST provides a Calibration Record for each instrument using signal cable. The meter cable markings are clearly shown on this record and provide a valuable cross-reference point.
