SALES ENGINEER - Geotechnical Instrumentation

 

POSITION: Sales Engineer – Geotechnical Instrumentation
LOCATION: Maple Ridge, BC
STATUS: Full-time

 

RST Instruments Ltd., based in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, is a leading manufacturer of engineering instrumentation for the geotechnical, mining, and environmental fields.

As a member of our Sales Team, you will be mainly responsible for the sales and technical support for all aspects of our products. Additional duties will include establishing & maintaining contacts with engineers in the geotechnical, mining, and environmental engineering community and participation in conferences and trade shows.

As the successful candidate, you will have a degree in geotechnical, geological, mining, or civil engineering and at least 3-5 years of experience. Registration or eligiblity for registration, with APEGBC is a definite asset. The candidate must have an interest in sales and preferably experience in the field. Knowledge of a second language would be beneficial.

You possess essential skills in technical reading, numeracy, written & oral communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, task planning and organizing, computer literacy, and a willingness to learn.

Salary is negotiable and commensurate to skills & experience. A competitive benefits package is also offered.
