RST Instruments Ltd. is currently inviting applications for the permanent, full-time position, of Sales Engineer. RST Instruments, based in Coquitlam,
British Columbia, is a leading manufacturer of engineering instrumentation for the geotechnical, mining, and environmental fields.
As a member of our Sales Engineer Team you will be mainly responsible for the sales and technical support for all aspects of our products. Additional duties will also include participation in conferences and trade shows, and establishing & maintaining contacts with engineers in the geotechnical, mining, and environmental engineering community.
As the successful candidate, you will have a degree in geotechnical, mining, or civil engineering. Registration, or eligiblity for registration, with APEGBC is a definite asset. The candidate must have an interest in sales and experience in the field. Knowledge of a second language would be beneficial.
You possess essential skills in technical reading, numeracy, written & oral communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, task planning and organizing, computer literacy, and a willingness to learn.
