In June of 2004, RST Instruments Ltd. sold Diavik™ Diamond Mines Inc. an Instantel Minimate™ Plus Blast Monitoring System which marked a company milestone for Instantel in producing 10,000 units of the product.

RST Field Services sold the 10,000th unit to Diavik™ Geotechnicians Clarence Choban and Dan Guigon. The two had previously used the Minimate™ Plus to monitor the effects of blasting at certain locations at the mine such as the dike and in the open mine pit. For Diavik™, the Minimate™ Plus was the best fit for their blast monitoring requirements and the reliability of past Instantel products were key factors in making the decision to purchase again.

Instantel Sales Manager, Ron Mask, indicated that he was very pleased to see that RST Instruments Ltd. was involved in such an important event in the company's history.
